Cooperativa de Viver welcomes groups of Japanese and English tourists in its Olive oil Tourism program

Last 30th November and 4th December two groups of Japanese and English tourists, respectively, visited the facilities of Cooperativa de Viver within its Olive Oil Tourism program.

During the visit they knew first hand the characteristics of their olive groves and, along the olive mill and packaging facilities, they learned the features of extra virgin olive oil and the effort that goes into its production.

The Japanese group came from the city of Fukuoka and enjoyed the “Lagrima” olive oil tasting, a product, this special extra virgin oil, which is still difficult to buy in their country. On the other hand, the British group of the Friends of Avinença of Moraira, have appreciated the commitment of defense of the Serrana local variety of olive and a such a special territory, the Alto Palancia.
